Property Description |
The Pine Crest Inn was constructed in 1906 and has welcomed guests since equestrian Carter Brown converted it to an Inn in 1917. Located in Historic Tryon, NC, the Inn was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. Today, this NC mountain Inn features 36 comfortable guest accommodations; four in the main Lodge and the remainder in ten outlying cabins & cottages, surrounded by expansive grounds and gardens. Original buildings, include a 250-year-old log cabin, a woodcutter cottage, and a stone cottage. The Inn also features a modern conference/event facility perfect for corporate meetings/training sessions, weddings, and family reunions. Reminiscent of an English country inn, the Pine Crest’s comforts include richly upholstered furnishings, lovely stone fireplaces and natural hardwood floors. Carter’s Tavern and Wine Cellar, a 60 Seat elegant Restaurant with live piano and multiple fireplaces make this Inn a destination for locals and travelers. |
